This is a set of brass fittings that are inspired by the original sword/antique jian of Guan Xiao - Qianlong imperial system. They feature a theme of ornamentation of banana leaf & twined golden flower , and were originally made in steel and gilding.Here you can appreciate many stages of the work that was put into creating them:
